Course Offerings, 2012 The Kingdom of God This course is a study of the Kingdom of God from a practical viewpoint. Emphasis is placed upon the Christian's opportunities and responsibilities to help advance God's Kingdom in and through his or her life. January 19-20, 2012 Portrait of Christian Marriage and Family This course paints a scriptural portrait of marriage and family. Topics include family roles in a Christian family, Christian parenting, God's resurrection power in marriage and communication. March 15-17, 2012 The Teacher/Priest in Biblical History This course is designed to develop and enhance the teaching skills of current and future church leaders so that they will qualify to lead by becoming "able to teach." This course also seeks to grow the student's understanding of the importance God places on teaching and learning by following the Levitical Priesthood through history and focusing on the teaching function of that priesthood. May 17-19, 2012 Divine Health and Healing Principles Sickness and disease are plagues that have taken too much from God's people. Lives, families, and ministries have been torn apart by these weapons of Satan. Hosea 4:6 says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..." Many people are bound and even dying because of a lack of knowledge of God's word concerning healing. God's word is full of scriptures concerning healing and health. The purpose of this course is to educate and enlighten us to what God's word has to say about the subject of healing and to help us appropriate what it says into our lives. July 19-21, 2012 The Ministry of Angels This course is a study of the doctrine of angels, referred to as angelology, the orderly statement of biblical truth about angels. Not only will this course provide balanced teaching that will help the student discover the purpose and importance of angels from a biblical perspective, it will also share examples and understanding about the role that God has given angels in our lives today. September 20-22, 2012 Pearls of Wisdom from the Proverbs This course is an in-depth exposition of twenty selected proverbs of divine wisdom touching on a broad range of timelessly vital subjects - motives, conscience, attitudes, speech, laziness, parenting, judgement, gifts, teaching, leadership, faithfulness, and so forth - and a full application of their principles and practical lessons to Christian thinking, living, and ministry.
